HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!!

This last year was fun to say the least. It was also difficult, arguably the most difficult one I've had in a while. This last year brought me lots of hardships, heartbreaks, anxiety, loneliness, pain, struggles, defeat, sadness, stress like never before, worry and the list goes on and on... But it also brought tons of new opportunities, change, i learned so much, I've seen so much, had adventures and explored myself more than anything. I left my comfort zone so much that i hate being in it. I made tons of new friends and left a few down the road. I cried more tears this year than any other but i felt more joy and peace than before. My relationship with God was a bit rocky to be honest but i know it will never be perfect so i'm going to keep growing still. I changed myself more than anything and my love for others and for my friends and family and church has grow as well. There's just too much that happened and if i write it all here, you guys would stop reading ...

The Box of My Heart

When I was little, I always had this image of a rectangular box in my mind. The box was just there in a dark room and light was only around the box and I stood next to the box. Every time someone came by, they were curious about my box so I would open it up and reach in. I would grab out an item from the box and hand it to them with a smile. The person would then take the item and look at it and play with it and in the end they either threw it or broke it or damaged it and then they left. Leaving the damaged item on the floor. I would get down on my knees and pick up the broken pieces and sweep them back into the box with tears in my eyes. As time passed, others would come and being curious and I would show them an item from the box but over and over again, they would just give it back damaged and I would cry while putting the pieces in my box. I started becomes hesitant to open the box. Started being more cautious. People would come and sometimes I never opened the box and after t...

Be prepared For Jesus' Return

I told my youngest brother once that you can learn something from everything you do. Even if it seems meaningless. Well here's a story i wanted to share with you all today about the kingdom of God. First i will tell you a story of what happened to me today. I went to work today and i work at a car rentals in an airport location. I'm what they call a "counter agent" and i make sure things are in order and i rent people our cars and explain the policy and make sure the customers understand the responsibilities they have when renting a car. In order to even rent a car, the first thing i check for before i even quote someone a rate or use a reservation that a customer has set up is if they qualify to even rent a vehicle. By qualify i mean; do they have a valid drivers license and a major credit card that matchs (meaning the driver of the vehicle has to be present and has to pay for the vehicle with his/her card.) No debit cards unless they are flying out of the airp...

Why doesn't God fix the world problems?

Humans... We make the mistakes. We carry our faults. We hate, we yell, we scream. We push and shove away. We curse each other. Even saying "you can't do it. there's no way." It's still cursing. Still showing your hate. We take what we want and say what we want. We make sure we have enough first before giving to others. We fight all the time and we feel sorry for ourselves even though the world is crashing all around us. How can we, imperfect beings, so broken and slothful, ever demand so much from others? We don't have the right to just take and take...but rarely give a dime and step out in good faith. We cry and ask "Where is God? Why won't He listen? Why doesn't he do something? And why does he let all this stuff go on?" The truth is...We pushed him away. We keep pushing him away and demand our way and then we wonder why he's gone. Why he's left us to our pain. I had a question asked to me once. I was asked what else can o...

Where Is Your God? Poem #4

"Help" they yell and cry out to the Lord. "Save us" they scream at the top of their throats. "Where are you?" they ask my Lord above Lords. "Where is your hand?" the poor coming forth. "Well where is your Lord? What good has he done? How can you believe when there's no proof to be found? You share of your stories and testimonies too. You tell us he's good and helps those who are true. But we see not Lord or God up above. So where is his hand when you fall to the ground?" Let me tell you where he is and what he has done.  What wonders he makes and the things he has won. He does help the poor and the broken at heart.  He sets captives free by the blood of his son. He sacrificed much to be with us one. To give us the freedom that we all truly want. He gives us the light each day and in the dark.  He guides my feet when im weary and weak. His presence is better than the fruit of the trees. He heals the sick and the u...
