My Focus on Him (Poem #11)

Joy, love, and peace in me The world in chaos but my peace will remain I know the earth is burning but my focus stays It stays on your word, it stays in your hands Your holding me tight, taking my worries away I'm wrapped in your arms, your breath in me You tell me to wait, you tell me to pray The worries leave and your presence appears Keep my heart pure and keep my mind clear So I keep seeking you till the day that I leave I'm a traveler here, my home is elsewhere I'm just here to bring your kingdom to reign The Lord is my Shephard, he guides through the night The darkness will flee when your by my side My nights will be peaceful My days will be bright My suffering can't compare to the pain you took of mine My sins you forgave, by blood I was cleansed No longer a sinner but a Saint in your name Rejoice with me friends, rejoice for the Lord He saved me from sin and save you he shall He is merciful and pure, clean as can be The judge of the world and my king he shall be

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!!

This last year was fun to say the least. It was also difficult, arguably the most difficult one I've had in a while. This last year brought me lots of hardships, heartbreaks, anxiety, loneliness, pain, struggles, defeat, sadness, stress like never before, worry and the list goes on and on... But it also brought tons of new opportunities, change, i learned so much, I've seen so much, had adventures and explored myself more than anything. I left my comfort zone so much that i hate being in it. I made tons of new friends and left a few down the road. I cried more tears this year than any other but i felt more joy and peace than before. My relationship with God was a bit rocky to be honest but i know it will never be perfect so i'm going to keep growing still. I changed myself more than anything and my love for others and for my friends and family and church has grow as well. There's just too much that happened and if i write it all here, you guys would stop reading ...

The Box of My Heart

When I was little, I always had this image of a rectangular box in my mind. The box was just there in a dark room and light was only around the box and I stood next to the box. Every time someone came by, they were curious about my box so I would open it up and reach in. I would grab out an item from the box and hand it to them with a smile. The person would then take the item and look at it and play with it and in the end they either threw it or broke it or damaged it and then they left. Leaving the damaged item on the floor. I would get down on my knees and pick up the broken pieces and sweep them back into the box with tears in my eyes. As time passed, others would come and being curious and I would show them an item from the box but over and over again, they would just give it back damaged and I would cry while putting the pieces in my box. I started becomes hesitant to open the box. Started being more cautious. People would come and sometimes I never opened the box and after t...

Get back up when you fall (Testimony Time)

Image
This is a video I made back a while ago. I explain a mistake I made one time in my Christian walk but the Lord taught me a lesson through it. Im not saying to make mistakes but whenever you do make a mistake, learn from it. I hope this video helps someone out and not to be so down when you have made a mistake in your walk. Just repent and get up and keep walking again. Your fall is not the end, your end is when you give up and stop walking. God Bless You All

Saved from the wrath of God. Does God love you just the way you are?

Learning To Be Humble

So I have a story to share with you all today. The Bible teaches us always to be humble and not howdy. "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:2 I could bring up more verses but i won't. Those who read the Bible constantly and understand it's messages will know that being humble is essential for our daily walk with Christ. It's what brings us to our low points in life sometimes so God may use us or it's what helps us forgive each other and it even teaches us when we become humble. Jesus was always humble when he came to earth for us. He was the most humble out of us all. A King who dies for His people. You can't beat that, that's for sure. But I wanted to share a personal story of how God humbled me just yesterday and it was not something i ever really expected to do. It was actually pretty tough to do so and i felt really low to do it but in the end it taught me a lesson on humility and k...

My Prayer To God

Dear God, You saved me from my wounds. You helped me in my weakness, You held me when i fell and lifted me back up when i was stubborn. I cry to you in my pain and i cry in my anguish. I call to you this day to save me once again, To restore my faith and heal my spirit. To wash away my tears and strengthen me up again. I pray you keep me safe from my enemies as i lay to sleep every night. i pray you break me when i'm prideful and humble me before you. I pray you give me strength when i cant stand anymore and use me even when i feel unworthy. Keep Your eyes on me always and watch over my family and friends as well. teach me even though it may be hard. Grab my life and restore it to yourself. Bring me no glory but take it for yourself. You knew me from my childhood, When i didn't even know myself you made me. You held me tight like a mother in her arms. You breathed life into these bones and gave sight to my very eyes. You gave me more than i deserved ...

Can you be too serious about God?

What a weird question right? "Can you be too serious about God?" The reason I asked this is because sometimes it feels like people tell me that I need to calm down or I'm taking things too seriously. I don't like to curse at all, I don't believe having tattoos is beneficial to God at all even if you have a tattoo of a cross or a a Bible verse or someone or something you cherish (which we can tal k about this subject later if you want to now my full opinion on this). I don't really celebrate most holidays if any at all... I take my Bible reading pretty seriously where as if I'm not understanding something, i will stop and pray or talk to someone or to God about parts in the Bible because i don't want to read trough it like a book and nothing more, I try to pray more often lately because it fills my spirit up and give me spiritual strength in God to keep walking and fighting for His kingdom, I hate perverted jokes even though in the past i use...

You Say That You Know Me (poem) #1

You say that you love Me,      But you show Me not. You say that you serve Me,      yet your deeds are not found. Your heart is far from Me,      you run far away. You sing to Me praises,      But the words don't awake. You say you feel good      in My presence each time But I want to tell you,      You're living a lie. In My presence you have never been,      you never knew Me,      not now and not then. You testify your feelings,      But you don't allow me in      to touch your whole Spirit      and fill you from within. How can you love me?      You do evil in my sight      and say "God can't see me, He's not here". Oh what a lie you live,      What blasphemy you do! My fury is burning,     ...

God doesn't need you...

The title to this blog might sound crazy to some and for others they might already know this. But the more i live this life trying and striving to do what the Lord asks of me and wants of me, i realize that God does not need me. Not at all. When i'm disobedient or thinking I'm better than others, or when i slip a little away from what God wants or even when i do obey Him and strive to do the very very best that i possible can do... The following statement it true and occurs in my mind often.                                                  "GOD DOESN'T NEED YOU!" He does not need you to do His will or to obey Him. If you don't obey Him and you turn from Him, He can just give the work that He planned to give to you to someone else. It's that simple. Let me give you an example: Let's say you have this job and something about this job doesn't please you. ...

Who is man against God? (Poem) #2

Those in the wrong      will learn with time, Eventually they will bow before Him. His might has no end,      who can hold Him back?      Who can hold God's Judgement back? He will come like the thief in the night,      When not one suspects it. Who can know His coming and going?      And who can stop Him? For the strength of the Lord      Is mightier then the beasts of the fields,     or the birds of the sky. His wisdom knows no bounds, His sham is never found      for He has none. When people cry for explanations, God gives none, He needs not to,      For who can tell Him what to do      with the things He's created? He is above all and never below Though humans forget Him and in their minds they scoff;      "Who is God that He can judge us?      And who is God that He can outd...

Will Jesus come back in less than 20 years?

What if you knew Jesus would come back in less than 20 years? Would anything change in you? Would you start seeking Him more and building a right and righteous relationship with Him? Or would you just relax knowing you had roughly 20 years before you give your life to Him? Would you stay calm or would you worry? Would you live still in sin or would you repent and leave it all behind to follow Jesus? Would you laugh at the one who told you this or would you take their message as a warning? I can say for a fact that not one person knows when the coming of the Lord Jesus will be here. When He will finally return to reap His harvest and to separate the lambs from the goats. Matthew 25: 31-32 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." Did you know that the mark of th...

Understanding the phrase "WWJD"

I know many of you have heard of "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do?). But in all honesty, how many times do you actually think this phrase and act accordingly? Do you actually think of this phrase before doing something that might be bad?  I can tell you that most of us won't do this and we don't care for repeating this phrase before doing/watching/listening or playing something. We just think "oh that was a different time He in."  That statement though it is true can be very tricky.  Well let me ask you this. Do you know what sin is? Can you explain to someone what sin is without quoting the 10 commandments? Well let me explain what sin is. Sin is not WHAT you do, but instead WHO you do it against. Here's an example: Let's say we take a lie. Now a lie doesn't seem so bad right? We all lie. So let's say you lie to a little 5 year old kid. What can that child do to you? Nothing! They have no authority to do anything. ...

"God is love"

So this subject might be a little touchy but i feel it needs to be told. I was talking with a friend about a week or so ago and i told her a little bit of God. I'm not sure how the conversation began but we started talking about religion and how we both are not into religion and how we view God. Well my friend (let's say her name is Sarah) started telling me that God is love and she believes that her relationship with God is a good relationship. So i started explaining to her that God is not only love but He is also Holy. She agrees to this so i go on. I tell her that God is perfect and when the Angels in heaven should praise to God, they don't shout "God is love, God is love, God is love!" or even that God is righteous. They shout "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE GOD ALMIGHTY!" This of course she agrees with and we continue our chat. I then tell her more about God and if she reads the Bible since she says she has a good relationship with God. She tells me ...

Careful of your Steps God's child

Everything you do and everything you watch or say or play has an affect on your life. I can't tell you how many times i have heard "it's just a song" or "everybody does it", "what's so bad about it?" and so on. I'm telling you this because i know many who play video games or listen to bad music (meaning non-Christian music) who say they are Christians but they think it's fine. Everything is "fine" if you live for the world or if you compare the things you do to what others do. Then of course you can say "well that person does this... And that person does that... At least i'm not doing this..." those are the worlds thoughts. "You are what you eat". This also applies to "you are what you do" or "you are what you watch" and so on. Everything we do affects us even if you don't notice it. Maybe some of you have heard the saying "tell me who your friends are and i will tell y...

Struggling with Your Walk with Christ

Have you ever had those struggling times when you are not sure whats going on and what you must do? I'm actually going through one of those right now. Everything seems to be against me and I can't seem to find a way out of it. I try and try but nothing helps. I am actually still searching for what is right and what is wrong with everything I do in life in my day to day walk with Christ. It's hard and frustrating something and there are days when you feel like Christ has left you all alone and you must figure everything out on your own. We try and try but can't find that peace in our own hearts. We scream and lash out at God because we think He doesn't hear us and we cry out to Him because we want His attention. Now i'm not saying that God doesn't hear us or that our walk with Christ is going to be easy. In fact, our walk with Christ is the HARDEST thing we can ever do. It's a struggling battle and very spiritually draining. As I'm writing t...

When you meet God

I was talking to a co-worker today and he told me that I was good. (A good person) I then quoted to him "There is none good, no not one" referring to the Bible verse:  "No one is righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10 He then responds with "you don't think you are good?" I relied with "no. I'm not." He proceeds to ask me "Then you don't think anyone is good?" "No one is good, only the Father is good. God is good" I continue with "I can even go through the commandments with you to show you." I didn't go through the commandments with him but he understood my point already. He still replied with "Well, you're a good person by human standards" I just laughed at his remark to keep complimenting.  We talked a little more about God and how it is important to do the right things. My co-worker then (like most people) started commenting on how he respects what others believe...
