"God is love"

So this subject might be a little touchy but i feel it needs to be told.
I was talking with a friend about a week or so ago and i told her a little bit of God. I'm not sure how the conversation began but we started talking about religion and how we both are not into religion and how we view God.
Well my friend (let's say her name is Sarah) started telling me that God is love and she believes that her relationship with God is a good relationship. So i started explaining to her that God is not only love but He is also Holy.
She agrees to this so i go on. I tell her that God is perfect and when the Angels in heaven should praise to God, they don't shout "God is love, God is love, God is love!" or even that God is righteous. They shout "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE GOD ALMIGHTY!"
This of course she agrees with and we continue our chat.
I then tell her more about God and if she reads the Bible since she says she has a good relationship with God. She tells me that she doesn't and then proceeds to tell me that she doesn't believe in everything the Bible says. She doesn't believe in the stories of the Bible like everyone dying in a huge flood and how they seem impossible.
She also tells me of how she died for a while at one point and came back to life in am ambulance after a car crash.
I have heard so many stories of these things happening so i'm not gonna question it or have her explain it so i can believe if it is true or not.
I also talked to her about turning from sin and how God can't have save someone if they don't turn from their sins and come to Him.
This she disagrees with and says "no, i believe that He loves me and my relationship with Him is good. I have grown closer to God since my accident."
To be honest, I wasn't too sure how to answer her after this and we didn't have much time to talk because we were both busy (or more like i was). So i left the conversation on that for the day.
The next couple days i kept thinking about it and wondering "how can i explain it better if she doesn't believe what the Bible says?".
After a couple days thinking on it, i got the answer.
The answer was this... Both of us serve different God's.
Her god is a god of love and acceptance so she can be free to do what she pleases at the same time having a god to worship.
My God is a Holy, Righteous, loving God that wants a right relationship and a Righteous and Just Judge. My God is all powerful while her god isn't because my God can do all the miracles in the Bible with no effort and can do much more but her god can't.

I have seen this situation so so so many times lately where people will pick and choose what they want their god to be like. Whether it's a "loving and accepting god" or a "mean god" or a "laid back chill god" and so on.

WE CAN NOT PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT WE WANT GOD TO BE LIKE!

It's like coming up to a stranger and saying "ok so i think you are a nice person who loves corn dogs, watching movies about dogs and listening to rap music".

You can't just make up whatever you want God to be so He can fit your life. You have to make your life to fit with who God is otherwise you are making an idol cor yourself. Everything that comes before God is an idol in your heart.
This is why the world is not having that right relationship with God our creator.

This is why so many walk away from Him and stop believing and go on sinning and being rebellious because they think they can just say "sorry" and move on and be saved.

Being a Christian is to be like Christ. And that means to follow Him. Be like Him. Love like Him, talk like Him. Giving up everything for Him and the most scary part is... To die for Him.

We will in lies these days thinking God will give us time on our death beds to repent and be with Him.
This is not true. God is already giving us all time to repent right now while you are reading this and living. If you are still living in sin and have not repented and turned from your sins 180°, i'm sorry to tell you this but...

You are walking on the wrong path and you will parish and be sent to hell for eternity. Repent now and be baptised for the remission of your sins so you can be free from sin and have everlasting life.

I'm not here to make friends with anyone but instead here to tell you the TRUTH. and the truth is

If you don't turn to Christ with all you heart, soul, body and mind, and you love your sins more than Him and are not willing to give it all for Him in repentance, baptism, and following Christ. You cannot be saved.

God bless you everyone. I truly cry out to the Lord to open your eyes and see that God is always good but He is also Just and Holy and you can't take what you want Him to be and fit it into your life.
